Greetings Fellow TASPians,

The start of the Annual KNCT-3 conference in beautiful Knoxville, TN is fast approaching, and we hope to greet/meet/and network with as many of you that will be attending.

President Johnson has ask me to remind everyone of TASP's FAIR SHARE.  As you begin to plan for the upcoming year, please don't forget to support FAIR SHARE and encourage your staff  to support this effort.

TASP exceeded it's goal  of 100% with 143% contributions in the current standing within the FAIR SHARE STATE REPORT provided by the Council for Opportunity in Education (COE).  If you are not familiar with the FAIR SHARE campaign, (COE) depends on institutional memberships, subscriptions, and personal contributions as its major source of operating revenue. Fair Share is the sharing of budgetary responsibility needed for the Council to operate based on the relative number of TRIO projects in an area.

TASPians have routinely met and exceeded our FAIR SHARE contribution, and we expect this campaign year to be no exception.  Here are some current  numbers  for you to ponder!

COE = 109% (includes the totals achieved by the 10 regions)

SAEOPP = 112% (includes the totals achieved by the 8 states)

TASP = 143%

The 2015-2016 FAIR SHARE REPORT IS BELOW.

During the KNCT-3 conference, you will receive an update about FAIR SHARE,  you will have an opportunity to make your personal and/or institutional contribution,  and be able to compete for some great incentives connected to FAIR SHARE fundraising efforts.

For those that are unable to attend the conference, you will receive post conference information.

It’s time to get KNCTed and to get on board the FAIR SHARE train.  Hoping to see you in Asheville!
