GOAL II: ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE

TASP will award at least six scholarships to TRIO students in the state each year
Enhancing the TASP learning experience for all members by conducting a Mentoring workshop at the TASP Conference each year
TASP will sponsor Scholars/Academic Bowl and research projects for TRIO participants each year
TASP will Sponsor a TRIO day each year

GOAL III: MEMBERSHIP

TASP will increase percent of member involvement by three percent each year
TASP will increase number of new members and percentage of members returning by five percent each year
TASP will increase the number of new members in leadership positions
TASP will increase number of members with leadership/committee experience
TASP will present a TROP Achievers Recognition during the TASP Conference each year
TASP will establish an online network and database of members
TASP will develop and post on the state website a membership directory annually

GOAL IV: LEADERSHIP

Strengthen and expand partnerships with Community hosting TASP Conference
Enhance relationships through State Initiatives
Increase Public awareness
Strengthen strategic and financial positions
Develop financial resources to support activities and initiatives of the organization
Demonstrate responsible stewardship of its fund
Support and assist the Council for Opportunity in Education (COE)

Progress Indicators

TASP will engage in fund raising activities with the Community
TASP will increase focus by hosting a State Initiative TRIO Day
TASP will have direct involvement in activities in the community hosting TRIO conferences
TASP will continue to seek and secure alternative funding sources (i.e. grants, donations, financial partnerships)
TASP will solicit support from its individual members and their projects
TASP will continue to maintain accurate and timely financial records and submit fiscal year records to an external review
TASP will continue to submit an audit review to the membership at the SAEOPP Annual Conference during the TASP Business Meeting
TASP will meet its Fair Share to COE annually

Expand educational opportunities

Develop relationships with policy makers
Encourage postsecondary institutions and/or community agencies to seek funding for TRIO programs in those areas

TASP will enhance relationships with Programs to assist with meeting grant objectives
TASP will provided workshops to present best practices in promoting services in program areas
TASP will assist TRIO personnel in understanding procedures and regulations governing TRIO programs
Encourage and support the development of new TRIO programs within the state
TASP will promote the Council for Opportunity in Education (COE)
TASP will assist and support members to publicize and advocate for TRIO
